Education Breakthrough Network ... About Us

We are believers in the power of excellent education.

We believe that every student in America has an absolute right to choose a school that works for them.

We trust the teachers and leaders of excellent schools, and believe in their proven ability to develop more and better school choices.

The Breakthrough to school choices in American education is already underway, and we want everybody to know what it is ... and who is doing it.

Here on our front pages, we provide you with an overview of school choice, and a quick look at some of our partners. We hope you will become as obsessed as we are, and will want to know who is doing this work in your neighborhood, and across the country.  In which case, we invite you to spend some time on the Network itself.
See for yourself!

The Network is a very detailed site, explaining who provides school choices, who advocates for students, teachers, and families to have greater choice, and offering extensive video and Google maps to seek out a school, organization, or advocate near you. You can also join yourself, adding yourself to the database as an advocate for school choices so that organizations might contact you.

The database can be searched using your computer (it’s currently too much information for a handheld, but our technology is getting there, so stand by!) and we hope you will use it as a resource to help you understand more about the fastest growing movement in American education.

At Breakthrough, we are about information, but also about connections. Consider us a resource bank, a free dating service for school choice, a “Switzerland” for school choice ... we simply want to bring some order and accessibility to this rapidly advancing sector.

The great news is that school choice is on the move ... and that it doesn’t matter what your political party, ethnicity, or social status may be ... somebody you love and trust is a big school choice fan.

And you should be too. Welcome to the Breakthrough.
